CURTAINS has been nominated for Best Cinematic Writing for the 2018 Blackbird Film Festival, a New York-based festival recently named one of the "Top 100 Best Reviewed" festivals on Film Freeway.

CURTAINS will screen CURTAINS as part of its prime (PG-13) film block, "Funky & Lighthearted" on Saturday, April 21.

Now in its fifth year, Blackbird screens between 120 and 150 films at its weekend-long festival, with an emphasis on short-form production. Beyond screenings, Blackbird features industry talks geared toward the seasoned professional as well as the first-time director. The 2018 lineup will include a roundtable discussion with the NYS Governor's Office of Motion Picture and Television covering all things production in New York State.

The festival runs April 20-22 at the Cortland Repertory Theater.
