CURTAINS WINS BEST COMEDY AT 15TH ANNUAL DAM SHORT FILM FESTIVAL IN BOULDER CITY.

CURTAINS had a fantastic screening for a packed house on Fri., Feb. 8, at the 15th annual Dam Short Film Festival, one of the best-run fests and most responsive audiences we’ve experienced with our film to date.

We were surprised and proud last night to be named Best Comedy for the festival, the largest in Nevada.

Honored to stand alongside the other category winners in such a high-quality program: Christopher Watson’s BAGHEERA (Best Drama); Roscoe Neil’s A SONG CAN’T BURN (Best Documentary); Ryan “Kron” Thompson’s NO LE DIGAN (Best Music Video); Steven DeGennaro’s STOP (Best Sci-Fi/Horror); Ben-Alex Dupris’ SWEETHEART DANCERS (Best Nevada Filmmaker) ; Katie Kammerer’s QUIET SUNDAYS (Best Student); Joel Pincosy’s MY PAINTBRUSH BITES (Leslie Page Award); Michael Feld’s 40 MINUTES OVER MAUI (Audience Best of the Fest); Annabel Vine’s SKIP GIRL (Best Screenplay); and Academy Award-nominee Louise Bagnall’s LATE AFTERNOON (Best Animation).

Wishing continued success to all of the filmmakers we met at DSFF 2019!
